This tripod is very light and well made. Anything that needs to be smooth is smooth, and what needs to be fixed will be fixed. The tripod comes with a ball head with Arca-Swiss nameplate, interchangeable center posts (long and short), instructions for legs and head, tools and a very nice bag. The bag is good for storage but not for travel as it doubles the weight of the tripod. Once you have the center speaker in place, the stand is very easy to use. However, changing a column from long to short is a bit cumbersome and not easy to do due to the small details in the field. Also, the benefit of carrying a short column is debatable. I really like the flip locks, they feel very strong but still not too tight. Overall, after years of fiddling with mediocre tripods, I really enjoy working with this tripod.
