This product is not only suitable for a rotten subsoil, but also for a self-supporting flange. The last handyman who installed the toilet for us did a poor job. Very bad processing. The toilet flange was simply glued onto the ABS drain pipe, nothing supported. There was no wood to attach the flange. Eventually this caused the wax seal to break (due to movement) and water to leak out. Luckily I found this product. I was able to squeeze it under the flange and grab the surrounding wood to secure the flange. Now he's not moving anywhere! Twenty dollars well spent!
