This OEM Dyson DC25 hose is 60% cheaper than an 'official' Dyson part. By now you may have noticed that I only gave 4 stars for "Easy to Install". Why? We had to use a hammer and a blunt flathead screwdriver to gently tap the lower fitting into place to secure the flange. It's a very tight fit, which is good. If you read blogs, it's common for owners who buy factory hoses. A common complaint from Dyson owners is the inflexibility of the factory hose. We all know that when trying to use an attachment, the hose gets so stiff that it drags the machine with it as it moves. The vacuum cracks your ankle several times. I hope it's not my imagination but this OEM hose seems to be more flexible. [Please be honest.] We can't talk about durability yet, but quality suggests longevity.
