I hope we never need them but I'm glad we have them. got stuck after dark while we drove back to camp to retrieve the recovery vehicles. It was autumn on a warm day, but when we got back the teenager and his father were frozen to the bone. Lesson learned. These ponchos are part of my emergency gear in my SUV. We already have blanket rolls under the seats and use them all the time when the temperature drops. But we were surprised by rain and snow, so these ponchos will be of great help when the dry cold turns wet. Fuel, snacks, water and now these drying mats.
