I usually save 5 stars for top quality amazing products. These Yamaha ceiling speakers work very well and sound very good. Our builder installed them for us so I can't speak for installments. I would say it is very good value for money. We bought 7 speakers in pairs of 2. We have one left. 5 are on the ceiling of our family room for surround sound. The remaining 2 are in the master. We mainly wanted them for music around the house and bedrooms. We love music and it's always on. However, these aren't the best in-ceiling speakers for our purposes. And I would rate 90% of other homeowners doing a good job. They sound incredible when paired with a Yamaha. 12" subwoofer. I connected all the speaker wires with banana plugs. Each speaker has a + and - and a specific connector depending on the connector (front center, front right, rear left, etc.). We also wanted a 4K UHD pass -Through to run our 4K TV through this sound system for shows and movies. During action scenes it sounds absolutely amazing. It hits you and you can feel the bass. Additionally, we wanted our receiver to be Blu-Tooth accessible and Wi-Fi networking capabilities. When listening to Pandora the speakers sound smooth, clean and high quality. That's all. I researched many others but settled on the reliable Yamaha name and cost since we have 9 speakers required.
