I think I made the right choice with this extension. I use it for my home office which includes monitors, laptop, desk phone, speakers and docking station. It's all sensitive electronic equipment that I don't want to fry. But it's also a bunch of stuff with stupid big plugs/adapters that don't fit most strips. Still, I had to move the ports around to limit the number of ports covered. I find the quality to be good and I think my electronics are protected in the event of a power surge. It also gives me a few free sockets in case I need to add anything else.
