Review on Secure Your Gear with Pacsafe 85L Backpack Bag Protector by Scot Hughes

Backpacking peace of mind

Went to India and stayed in places where the door was 'secured' with a simple padlock. And we visited places where it wasn't allowed to carry bags in our cells. So we had to leave it in the hotel room. Sometimes we had to check out earlier and leave our luggage at the reception. That meant leaving her in a little broom closet on the side. Traveling in trains for journey. for 20 hours at night when we had to sleep and run to the bathroom. The protective bag sleeve gave me a little more peace of mind when a thief had to choose between my bag or my friends' unprotected bags. The thief will leave my bag alone. Of course a thief who REALLY wants in my pocket will. But most of the crimes I worry about are usually committed accidentally. And the protection of the bag, of course, deprived a lot of opportunities. A NOTICE. I used the rain cover on my backpack before putting on the steel mesh. The mesh openings are large enough for one person to unzip and reach your bag. You secure the bag by wrapping the wire around something secure and it locks with a padlock and key.

Pros
  • High Tensile Stainless Steel Wire
Cons
  • Not Secure
