Just set up the Arlo Pro2 camera system and complete the installation with a few other Revain items. Rather than writing individual reviews and assuming other buyers might feel the same way, I'll summarize all the additional points into an overall view of the solution. After much searching and researching I have decided on the following. Solution: Aluminum Alloy Adjustable Bracket Kiwi Design: Great! They are ALL metal alloys except for the plastic mounting base on the bottom. Very easy to install and configure. Although both cameras are under a soffit or overhanging porch and outside of the straight elements, I wanted something strong and durable. And the adjustment screw nut does NOT interfere with the charging cable as many other mounts have complained about. Highly recommended! eBoot Silicone Skins: Very glad I chose these. From a distance, the light brown blends with the brick on the back, creating a clean look. The camera itself is barely visible unless you know it's there. Taken One Outdoor Weatherproof Charging Cable: Comes with a charger that has an outlet at right angles to the power inlet for a clean installation. The flat cable is easy to process and can be threaded into holes. Again, my chargers are either inside or well protected under the ledges, so I wasn't worried about full exposure to the elements. Constant power activates the Pro2's 3-second "reverse look-back" buffer, allowing you to capture more detail in your footage. Don't worry about recharging your batteries and worry less about working in cold weather. Tendelux AI4 IR Illuminator: I've seen and read several reviews online mentioning the Pro2's night vision performance. I chose an IR illuminator and the difference is noticeable. I chose the smaller AI4 for aesthetic reasons, given the small size and black color, as well as other reviewer comments and comparison photos. The unit itself is barely visible from the distance of the sidewalk. If you are on and looking straight ahead and moving towards the lamp you can see the red glow from the LEDs faintly but nothing serious. After seeing the results for the first time at night, I think I could have used a larger device, but would still be happy with the balance of performance gain and physical size. Re: In the attached photos there are lights in front of the garage that emit ambient light but you can still see the difference between the brick wall and the ground and the shadows from the pole with the IR on.
