If you shop by your true size, chances are you will be fine. I'm on the heavy side (5ft 8in, 232lbs) and bought the 3X. Out of the box they are 3X. So the manufacturers really mean business. 1 or 2 washes and I'll be fine. A little baggy today, but that's ok, I hate tight clothes. UPDATE: Bought 8 more Still great ts for the money. bags too!
