What a waste of money!** Although I take full responsibility for this wasted purchase. Apparently my critical thinking skills stopped that day. Basically, adding 1/2 cup to the wash to clean the clothes that hard water kills got me through in a day. What was I thinking. 1 pound is such a SMALL AMOUNT. However, the soda itself seemed to work just as well as what I can buy at the store. So there are no problems. And for anyone complaining about the plastic lining inside the bag, I'm going to advocate for the seller here. There is no perfect ecological solution. I mean, imagine if that little plastic wrap weren't there and the paper bag got torn or wet in transit. This will destroy your soda. Maybe the manufacturer's budget doesn't include covering the bag with cornstarch film. And actually, it's a very small amount of plastic. In truth, the real option is to buy a regular box from the store. * It is made of cardboard without plastic. *Less carbon footprintNow the borax I bought that day is still almost full as I don't use it that often. Not that much of a waste, but still not much.
