Review on 🌬️ SEAC Unifleece Thermal Undergarment for Dry Suits by Keith Samuel

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great fleece for moderate temperatures

I bought these underwear for a recent trip to the Red Sea with water temps in the 68-72F range. For recreational dives <90 minutes it was pleasantly warm, but I also tolerate the cold well. If you get cold easily, you can wear a warm base layer (like merino wool) or pick up clothing that weighs up to 200. Of course, there were times when I could tell the temperature had dropped from the 70's to the 60's. I'm 6ft 1in, 205lbs, legs are longer than my torso and I bought the XL. It was a bit tight so if I had more time I would probably go a size up, but the clothes stretch enough so that's not a problem. The only reason I deducted 1 star was because of the fabric started to slip, but I also did 25 dives in a short amount of time per trip so the wetsuit had to be put on and taken off a lot. I definitely like the two-way zip (top or bottom zip) because it makes using the toilet so much easier and adjusts the P-valve if you think about it.

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Low repairability
