This dog walking rope is a great accessory for our dog. It's a 70 pound pup with lots of energy so we set him up about 7 feet tall and used about 80 feet of cord running from our shed to the tree. This gives our dog the freedom to play ball and run around the room without fear of jumping the fence and not keeping an eye on him all the time. The 10ft cord that goes from the main cord to the collar is long enough and the hooks on each end work just fine. I got a 2" full metal caster as I was concerned the plastic caster that came with it would break. The whole kit is well thought out and, with the exception of the included pulley, is made up of quality parts that should last for many years. Hope that helps!
