See image. While the faucet body is metal and sturdy as others have said, there are some plastic parts that don't inspire confidence. I installed it in my vanity in the powder room and it lasted 10 months. Not sure how or why, but the plastic flange broke, allowing the pipe to slide down and allowing water to seep into the vanity. Can't tell as everything looked fine from above. We only noticed that the towels in the dressing table started to get moldy. You can also see that the bronze plating on the drain plug has worn off. Purchased "REGALMIX Bathroom Sink Drain, Extendable Drain with Removable Basket Plug, Explosion-Proof and Non-Clog Drain Filter, Complete Sink Drain" to replace a broken drain. This new one was on Amazon at 10pm and is all metal; The drain flange is part of the downspout so I don't expect breakage.
