Cuts well. The hole is small.

Not recommended if you are using a dehydrator. Not suitable for round fruits or vegetables. apples or potatoes. Disappointed the entrance is so small. I am returning this slicer. Can't use it for what I need it for

SAFER: This mandoline slicer is so safe that even older children can use it. Thanks to the spring-loaded handle, your fingers will never come into contact with the blades as they are well sealed. You press down on a spring-loaded handle to slice food in seconds. The vegetables are fed into the slicer by gravity and the slices fall into the lower bin, keeping countertops clean.
