I've had it for 6 months now. We use almost daily. We use the recommended capsules for this and buy them from Revain. It makes great hot coffee, macchiato, latte, etc. Perfect for our tastes and needs. When we first got it I couldn't figure out how to use it. But I quickly realized that some people struggle because they don't follow the steps in the "right order". Step 1) Press the power button to warm up the device. This should take up to 30 seconds. Step 2) Lift the handle to unlock the capsule holder and pull it out. 3) Insert capsule, push in. 4) Use the switch to adjust the bands as indicated on the module itself (press the switch up and down to adjust the bands). 5) Now push the handle down to lock it. 6) Press the SAME toggle switch LEFT for cold and RIGHT for hot. You will hear the device make noises as it starts outputting. 7) Repeat the same with the second capsule. 8) Remove the used capsule when finished. Please note: we only use this for hot drinks. We tried cold ones and they weren't cold enough and tasted a little watered down. So if you buy it mainly for cold drinks, try it yourself before making a decision, as taste preferences vary greatly.
