Nice heater with likes and dislikes

Like: This thing heats up pretty quickly once it's on. It is very light and easy to carry. There is a handle at the top. The wheels are mounted very easily by manually turning the screw. That's a nice heater. It has touch buttons instead of dials. Customer service responds to questions in a timely manner. It's quiet and comfortable to walk in your sleep. The sound of the relay switch when turning the heater on and off is fairly quiet and not annoying at all. He is skinny. (It is easy to store in the warm season.) You can hang it on the wall or use it on the floor. (I'll only use it on the floor.) Build quality seems solid. I like that it's more of a convection heater than a convection heater. If desired, it has a timer and calendar function. I think mica infrared heaters are superior to the oil filled type just comparing the two types. Dislikes: It doesn't have a built-in digital thermometer that shows your room temperature. The numbers on the screen are just the temperature you set. It doesn't have a remote control. (Of course, before I bought it, I knew it didn't have a remote. And that wasn't the deciding factor. It's just that at this $159.99 price point, I expected a remote that would add convenience, especially in the bedroom.) The instruction manual is terrible, with many inaccuracies. (I contacted customer service for the help I needed and was told they included the old inaccurate manual with these heaters as they didn't make new ones after the firmware change. I have a feeling they did old inaccurate manuals could put in the box, they could print out a few extra sheets of paper with the exact information and put them in the box as well, instead of people having to fiddle with them when the heater settings and screens don't match the instructions.) The Temperatures you can set are even numbers only. Again, at this price point, I expected you to be able to set all temperatures between the low and high range. As long as you just want even temperatures, you'll love this. Of course, if you want odd temperatures, don't buy this heater. They have a setting they call "Eco mode" but it's not really a traditional Eco mode where you can just set or change the temperature on the fly. With this heater, the Eco mode simply lowers the set temperature by 6-14 degrees immediately. As a random example, start by setting the thermostat at 74 degrees. If you later switch to Eco mode, the thermostat setting drops to 68 if you chose the 6 degree setting in the Eco settings. You can go into settings and choose how much reduction you want when you switch to economy mode. Bottom line: I've tried an oil-filled heater before, and although it had a remote control, it had a digital thermostat that showed the room temperature. , and I could set any temperature I wanted, not just even numbers, I like this mica heater a lot more. The oil-filled one made a loud clicking noise when the relay switch was operated, making it unsuitable for use in a bedroom or quiet room. Also, the oil heater took much longer to generate heat and heat the room. (This Ballu heater will certainly start heating up everyone nearby right away.) So, at the time of writing this article, this heater is my favorite (compared to many others I've tried), despite the dislike.
