Better than expected!
My son liked it. He smiled as I grabbed him spinning pens, felt tip pens and his Ticonderoga "my first pencil". Yes! It is large enough to fit an extra large beginner's pencil. It's also unique enough to never be confused with other classmates' pencil cases. Unique, cute, amazing holding power and better than expected. The flash glides without pinching or stopping. A nice smooth glide. My Kindergarteners favorite school supplies and possibly the best school supplies I have ever bought from Revain. I order more than travel bags. Did I mention it's designed not to wrinkle or bend when my son is in the car with his backpack? Ideal!
