Review on PureGear Magnetic Universal Rotation Smartphones by Louis Asok

Revainrating 1 out of 5

What a piece of shit.

For the record, I did not purchase this from Revain. I was on a trip and stopped at a Verizon store in Pinola, California and bought this to help read IMAP on my phone. I paid more than double the Revain at the Verizon store. It was easy to assemble/install, but it doesn't have a stabilizer bar and Highway 80 doesn't provide a smooth ride. This product has multiple uses for the magnet - I chose to use a lighter adhesive between my phone and the magnet rather than a stronger adhesive directly on the back of the magnet. Wrong choice…. Without an anti-roll bar, the entire unit vibrates even on flat stretches of freeway. This worked well enough for my day trip and I tugged my phone out of the holder for the evening (light adhesive still holds the magnet to my phone - a little annoying). The next day, when I plugged my phone back into another drive, the glue holding the magnet to the phone evaporated. The magnet stayed attached to the holder, but the phone did not stay attached to the magnet. So today I ordered a VICSEED holder (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B084ZFK84T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). If this one works better (hopefully much better) I'll post a review.
