Beware of twisting wood frame
I loved these frames. They are very lovely. I bought 12 altogether. We’ve had them about 9 months. We heard a loud noise one night recently, like something smashing. We looked round the house, but all was fine. Then, the next day, I noticed a glass insert had cracked in one of the frames.The wood had warped and hence, smashed the glass.I’m disappointed because it was part of a gallery on the wall, so I have one missing now. I can’t replace the glass as the wood is arched now. It’s not flat anymore.So, just beware that this particular wood may warp.
- They are lightweight and easy to handle
- The frames may not hold up well in areas with a lot of vibration, like next to a washing machine
