Good hinge but large gap between door and cabinet

Firstly, although advertised as 1/2", the hinge is clearly designed for a 3/4" frame. There are small feet that help stabilize the hinges. Second, even with full adjustment to bring the door as close to the frame as possible, the result is shown above. This may be normal for some, but it is fundamentally unsuitable for our kitchen. I originally bought these because I also bought the full size Berta soft close hinges and was happy, but I can safely say this is a disappointment. I'm also not sure I'll get them back now that they're installed, but if I could I would.
