I bought the same brand from Lowe's a few years ago. It worked perfectly the whole time. We recently had some electrical problems that damaged these receivers. I was looking for the same model as before as I love that they have dual outputs on each receiver. When I received my order, I noticed that the product had been slightly redesigned. The remote has a slightly rounded back, which doesn't sit well with us as we leave it on the bedside table and press the buttons without lifting the remote. But that was a small problem. The real problem is that we found the channel 1 power button to be incompatible. Sometimes I had to press the button 3-4 times before the outlet would activate. So every product has a few downsides from time to time. I contacted Revain to return this and ordered a replacement. When a replacement came, I plugged in a receiver and tried it out. This one was even worse than the first. It didn't work at all when the transmitter was more than 3 feet away from the receiver. It should have a range of 80 feet. If it is close enough to the work place, the transmitter must be pointing correctly for it to work. A bad accident. Two in a row is a pattern. I am very disappointed that they have dropped so much in quality. They were the only ones I could find with two outlets. But now I have to return them and try another brand. It's a shame.
