This pump was perfect for my water recirculation system. The water flows over the rock and circulates through a buried 8 gallon bucket. I used a length of regular garden hose that fits perfectly into the smallest hole that comes with the pump. it is quiet and seems to pump well. That's more than I expected for $25. The pump has been working properly for about a month now. I accidentally let it dry 3 times and it still works! I also use it to water my plants. It works great, I use a hose with small holes in the inlet as a bypass so the pump doesn't get pressurized. It's very quiet, I didn't really realize it was working when I first turned it on. The pump has a large suction capacity with practically no noise. The only sound I hear is the sound of water!
