Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Optimized Portable Wheel Dishing Gauge - WAG-5 by Park Tool by Shalom Germann

Revainrating 5 out of 5

After modification, the tool works fine.

When assembled, the connection between two measuring arms is fixed. It disassembles into two parts with wing nuts at the bottom of the gauge body. I've found that one solution that greatly improves glide foot setup is to add a shim and thrust bearing. The problem is that locking the skid by turning the threaded knob is intended to move the skid away from the locking nut on the wheel axle. Adding a 10mm washer and thrust bearing between the face of the slide foot and the threaded portion of the handle keeps the foot in place and makes the tool much easier to use. The thrust bearing I used can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0056JIFBQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
