I am a designer and I draw, draw and draw ideas all the time. I've tried many sketchbooks over the years. All fashion pants, all sizes, styles, from big brands to small indies. This Canson is by far the best I've ever used. Combination of 9" x 12" page size, perforated sheets, strong spiral and relatively strong back cover (withstands being transported in backpacks, bags etc. for weeks). Due to the strong spiral, the sketchbook lies flat when you open each page. **But the BEST feature of all is the quality of the paper. The general "cog" of this paper is spot on; rough/smooth for all paints, various drying media. It's just beautiful to draw. 65 pounds. They are nice to draw and take with you as they are not too heavy. They also look professional and are perfect for designers, artists or anyone just sketching their ideas.
