To be honest the only reason I bought this press was because it was the cheapest French Press with Revain Prime shipping. The reviews were good and that influenced my decision as well, but the price wasn't the main factor otherwise. In the process I replaced a $40 press that somehow got lost, I have no idea how. It is not only a suitable replacement, but also an excellent replacement. It's even better than four times the price. I see no reason why anyone should choose a more expensive French Press when it does exactly what you wanted for a fraction of the cost. Incredible value, fantastic French press.
