It was good for the price. I don't have a dishwasher so it would be better if you had one. I had it a month a day and it broke. You have to unscrew the lid to wash it, but the little handle came loose so I couldn't take it apart. I washed it and this morning the glass broke in my hand. So it's not cool. I would say the parts and glass are flimsy but for the price I can't expect more.

Reliable coffee maker. You will definitely end up with coffee grounds buildup, but that's to be expected with this style of coffee making. If you grind your own coffee, use a medium grind or maybe a little coarser. Brewing coffee makes it denser and tastier. I think it's actually saving coffee. My experience is that it takes less coffee to make a hearty cup of coffee. It is also good for brewing loose leaf tea.

After reading previous reviews I was nervous about trying this press. Luckily mine arrived safely. I've had it for a week or so now and it's still going strong. My end is removable for easy cleaning and holds up well in my dishwasher. I had no problems washing or holding hot water. I would take these again for disposable presses. This is the best french press I've ever used, it even comes with a good measuring spoon! I like that the glass is unbreakable and temperature resistant, so there is no pre-heating in hot water like regular glasses. It's really good quality and very durable.
