I used these solar lights to light up signs at my condo complex. We had one old solar light for each sign but they were going quickly and weren't very bright to begin with. These landscape spotlights are much, much brighter than the old lights and cast more light sideways. I used two lights for each sign. The dimensions of the signs being lit up are about four feet tall and five feet wide. I would recommend.
