Review on Marina Decorative Gravel 1 Pound Blue by Tina Evans

Very pretty and love the burgundy color (at first). Unfortunately, every time I wipe the gravel while cleaning the tank, the pieces of gravel break off, showing bright white spots where the burgundy pieces broke off. I don't think I'm a rabid gravel washer - I just place it in a colander, rinse with water and gently move the gravel around. The chipped bits are becoming more and more visible in the aquarium as I clean the gravel regularly - it doesn't look as pretty as it did when it was first brought in. I'm worried my fish and frogs might see the small broken off part, mistake it for food and eat it. I think I'll be looking for a replacement soon.
