Description of Marina Decorative Gravel 1 Pound Blue

Blue colored gravel, great for adding color to your aquarium. Gravel helps hold plants and ornaments in place. Epoxy coated; No effect on water chemistry. Great for adding character and color to your aquarium. Decorative gravel is great alone or mixed with marbles.

Ideal amount for a small tank

Ideal amount for a small tank. I was happy with the small amount of dust that came off them when flushed. They contrast beautifully with some of the larger white stones I used to emphasize this. Happy with the price and my purchase, I highly recommend them if you want to create your own mix of colors or just have a smaller tank.

Black stones are good for aquarium substrate

I love these non-toxic black stones. They claim to be dust free, but you can see some in the packaging itself. According to the instructions, they have to be rinsed off before they are put into the aquarium and are then gone. Fact: My perception of £1 is wrong as I expected more but that's my fault not the product itself *Face-palm* In conclusion I will be ordering more. (:

  • Absolutely amazing!

Very nice color; just what i needed

this is a great color for what i need. Not an aquarium, but a terrarium with water, that gravel and lucky bamboo (what's not bamboo, but who cares?) I'm not a rowdy smart person, but I saw a terrarium in a book and had to make it. I will post pictures when I get bamboo. In any case, this color attracts attention. It will also look great in the aquarium. :-)

Easy Chips - Gravel

Very pretty and love the burgundy color (at first). Unfortunately, every time I wipe the gravel while cleaning the tank, the pieces of gravel break off, showing bright white spots where the burgundy pieces broke off. I don't think I'm a rabid gravel washer - I just place it in a colander, rinse with water and gently move the gravel around. The chipped bits are becoming more and more visible in the aquarium as I clean the gravel regularly - it doesn't look as pretty as it did when it was first…

  • Good product for the price

Miscellaneous Blue - Gravel

I ordered Gravel Blue twice and ended up with two completely different shades of blue. The first order was placed in mid-September this year and the gravel was dark blue. It was very pretty and I liked the way it looked in the aquarium. I finally got around to ordering more to fill the tank and ordered a few more bags in blue. The blue that arrived this week is a light blue, it doesn't look like the navy blue I received first and it doesn't look like the color on the product picture. Otherwise…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Easy repairability

MY BETTA IS ALMOST DEAD

I am a college student and just bought a rooster. She is very sweet and I named her Bub. After receiving it, I realized I was doing some things wrong. The bottom in her tank was very rough and I read that bettas can get hurt if the rocks at the bottom of the tank aren't smooth, so of course I decided to buy her new rocks. They were exactly how I imagined them: small, smooth, lavender-colored pebbles. I followed the directions on the packaging to wash them and place them in the aquarium before…
