The drawer is beautiful, elegant and looks solid. It's exactly the same size as a similar box I bought at a big department store a few years ago. The only real difference is the locking mechanism, which takes a little getting used to but not difficult. In this drawer, you simply pull the latch mechanism inward and open the door, but when you close it you have to make sure the top and bottom pins are aligned, which takes more pressure than I expected. Overall a great cage suitable for a large pet. sleep perfectly.
