Durable and inexpensive!
When someone in our home is sick, we use paper towels to help prevent the spread of germs. I needed a second paper towel holder for our bathroom and this fitted the bill! It's strong and well made. You must use two hands to tear the paper towel off the roll, but unless the paper towel holder is marketed as "one-handed tear off," you will have to use two hands in most cases. My 3 and 4 year olds can tear off leaves on their own. That's a great deal for the price, especially considering some paper towel holders cost upwards of $20.
