We use it to store toilet paper rolls in the bathroom, not paper towels. It pairs perfectly with our 1930's black and white tiling and chrome hardware and holds three to four rolls perfectly. Very well made, minimalist design, functional and attractive.

Not suitable as a paper towel holder. Aside from the fact that the cover arrived chipped, it doesn't literally work like the only thing it's supposed to do - you'll find that it's easier to roll up the paper towel than it is to just lay the roll upright on the paper let counter. The bar is too wide for a regular paper towel roll so the paper towel won't move and you'll either lift it all the way up or twist it and scratch the countertop. All they have to do is narrow it down about half an inch.

I use this product with paper towels 'pick your size'. (That's why my paper towels have minor gaps between them) QUALITY: no broken, bent, or oddly placed parts.
