This was purchased to replace old, worn drawer slides that were allowing the drawers to open accidentally. how it should look like, but since it's so small it's very hard to tell what it should look like (and no, I don't use or need reading glasses - a magnifying glass might have helped but I don't have any). I ended up using the pre-existing old guides as a guide. The screws were too small (as pointed out in other reviews) so I reused the screws that were in the old rails. Once installed, the drawers do not close by themselves. I actually have a new problem that they are now having a hard time closing. I have to close the drawers to close them completely. It's as if the spring mechanism can't support any real weight (even with an empty box) and stops before fully closing. My drawers are the regular melamine drawers found in most bathroom vanities. Since awkward closing is better than drawers that won't stay closed I left them inside but now I'm looking for the guides that are under the drawer to see if I can really find myself. Lock rails that might work for my drawer. So again, I'm either unlucky with two sets of defective sliding lenses or the product really doesn't work. Buyer Warning.
