I see quite a lot of bad reviews on this one

I see quite a lot of bad reviews on this one. I do not know why. Tolerances must be exact or it will bind, just like any drawer slide. The self-closing feature is a nice addition to keep the drawer closed (when used on a vintage trailer). Good product!

Forget it for drawer slides

This is really bad. I did everything right during the installation. It started working a few times, slid back and forth, then they got stuck. After I fixed it again, they don't work properly at all. The plastic part gets stuck and doesn't work. I have to reset it again and again. I ordered 3 of these and all 3 are the same. Forget it.

Good price but 2 sets didn't close properly

I bought five pairs of these rails to use in a closet I built to store all my kids art supplies. Two of the five sets immediately had problems. The soft close function did not work. They open and close but not properly. It wasn't a huge problem for me on this project, but it definitely would be if I used them in kitchen cabinets. I still give them three stars because I felt they were expensive, but I think I would have picked a more expensive set for something important.

Soft close and soft slide work poorly. Stay away.

I bought these because I only needed two packs of Blum for my project and didn't want to buy another 6 packs of Blum. I didn't want to buy any extras as I didn't know if I would be going back to 14 inch boxes. Well I didn't save any money. Gliding is hard and they don't have a pull to close. Sometimes they work. In most cases I have to insert them. If I decide it's worth getting the boxes working, my other six are working fine, then all I have to do is take those two out and reinstall a…

Wrong product delivered. Mainly

I ordered 6 of these and only 2 of them were pictured. The other 4 have gray ends (not blue) and don't slide as smoothly. Of the two versions I received, 2 different types of screws (the blue pan head and the gray countersunk) were included in 3 different lengths (the round heads in one set were longer). The correct version installed with no issues, however the other 4 have a design flaw causing one of the holes to interfere with the release. May I recommend you? It's hard to tell as there's no

trash is right! fits drawer slides

This is a very low quality. Don't buy them. Broke after two months of use. I didn't even realize that this slide style could actually "break". I was wrong. They have a cheap plastic thing to hold the ball bearings in place while most brands have a metal cage. They slide so rough they're loud. And finally the plastic thing at the end of the track came out and now they don't move. I used Promark's soft close slides - they're great, but we had two shallow drawers and I could only find these 14"…

The product differs from the one in the photo - TWICE!

Ordered these to replace existing Liberty soft close drawer slides. Although the brand and model number match the description, the actual product differs greatly from the image. They have light gray plastic ends instead of the blue ones in the pictures. The color is not important, but the pattern of the holes is completely different from what is shown on the original product. This makes it impossible to install them with the original holes in my situation. After sending back the first set…

Insane tolerance requirements for neat sliding

I've built furniture from scratch, assembled furniture, changed drawer slides in old dressers, and done countless business trips in Ikea trench coats and I've never worked with such fiddly drawer slides. like these. I think they might work well if the drawer and the bracket you mount them on were perfectly square and handcrafted by Jesus Christ and Norm Abram himself basking in heavenly glory, but that's not me and that's not 99. 9999% non-Abram lives like This. Yes. These things suck, stick…

Much better quality than the original slides in my filing cabinet. Replacing old slides isn't that difficult, especially if you've already replaced four or five. Worst when you need to replace the bottom drawer slides. Access to this place is incredibly difficult. If you're replacing the bottom drawer, I'd also recommend getting Icy Hot and Alleve to go with it. For all other boxes it's pretty easy. Some of the holes in my wooden filing cabinet matched those in the replacement. I started with…

It takes some skill to make them work properly

This isn't the first time I've installed drawers with slides, but this is the first time I've installed drawers with these soft- Install close rails. I will say that after the initial struggle I now understand a little better how to avoid some of these frustrations. Of course it is very important that everything is as square as possible, but you must not deviate more than a sixteenth of an inch from your measurement, otherwise you will certainly have to put spacers, since the lowering mechanism
