I was initially quite happy with the product for the value for money. But there really wasn't any real friction adjustment for tilt. It was spring-loaded really heavily in neutral and the regulator wasn’t controlling the fluid flow. It was either pretty hard (but almost tolerable) or blocked. The palette was simple friction as far as I can tell. It was pretty good on medium settings, but was unstable on a 360-degree rotation. It would be easy to bind and then stronger in certain directions. Totally free, maybe you could make it smooth enough for your needs. Eventually I sent it back and never used it.
