I like rugs, but as a pet owner I tend to avoid them. Messes are much easier to spot and clean on my hardwood floors. When I saw a washable rug, I was doubtful but also curious enough to try it out. I am glad I did, because it is great!Pros:--Surprisingly soft. The first time I walked on it without shoes I immediately stopped what I was doing to admire its softness, which I was not expecting from a washable rug.--Surprisingly grippy on the bottom. I had assumed that to make it small enough to fit in a washing machine that the bottom was probably some thin material. I was wrong. It has a grippy bottom similar to one one the bottom of a bath mat--Looks nice. The colors are muted.--Washes well. Due to a new puppy, I "got" to try out the washing. It fit in my front loader with room to spare, came clean, and remained soft. It is currently hanging over the fence to dry (cannot put into dryer)--Robot vacuum rolls over it with no problemCons:--Due to its thinness, it wrinkles more easily than typical carpets when straightening it. I had to hold up the couch while my daughter pulled the corners to get it to lay correctlyI am really happy with this product and will update the review if anything changes.
