Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ Dual Edge Ripper: Enhance Your Watercolor Craftsmanship with Original Deckle Edge Tool 1-24 inch by Morgan Gilmore

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Too expensive and delivered in bad condition for the price

basically it's a big piece of plastic with a jagged edge of some random shape. It arrived in partially torn packaging and the ruler looked used rather than new with scratches. Same goes for the part replacement - the second one even had a very sharp broken off part near one of the ends that basically looked broken and wasn't part of the design. He can cut the edges of the deckle. To be honest, the pressure and repeated passes some papers require make the process slower than tearing deckle edge by hand (this ruler often slips when tearing), and hand tearing looks better in comparison. So is a scratched and worn piece of wide, jagged plastic that slides unpredictably on paper worth more than $42 after taxes? I do not think so. I give it 2 stars instead of 1 because sometimes it does what it's supposed to do when you can forget the price.

Pros
  • art paper
Cons
  • bits and pieces
