The lens is lightweight and about the size of a standard lens (14-42mm). I mostly shoot in manual mode, the focus ring is very sensitive to touch. A light touch will change the focus, but once you get used to it it shouldn't be a problem. I tried auto focus and zoom adjustment. The auto focus motor is very quiet and the zoom adjustment is very smooth. Works well with my Lumix G2 camera. Images are clear and sharp. I got it before a trip to Helen, GA on July 3rd and took lots of photos that weekend. I am very satisfied with both lenses (14-42mm, 45-150mm). I will probably buy 100-300mm for wildlife photography. I have a couple of old Canon FD mount lenses that I've used in the past that are sitting in the closet now. They are much heavier and the photos come out soft and blurry. I like the compact dimensions of the Panasonic lenses.
