I was surprised by the quality for the price.

The lens is really good. Of course, there is no comrade for the taste and color, but I personally liked it. I give 5 points. Got pros: 1. Very compact size. 2. Pleasant metallic finish, as a result of which the lens is simply pleasant to take in hand. 3. Smooth and moderately tight movement of the zoom ring. As a result, there are no jerks when zooming, everything is smooth. 4. Very good autofocus speed when taking photos and, which is especially pleasing, when shooting video. To be honestโ€ฆ

My 45-150 is a great companion

I find this lens to be a great travel companion due to its compact size. After purchasing the Panasonic 100-300 (a lens I love for its great, but underestimated, great image quality) I found my 45-200 to be overkill so I gave up. But then I realized I was missing the 45-100 (90-200) range in my lens kit, so I decided to add this lens. Wise decision. I found I could slip this relatively inexpensive lens in my bag with minimal qualms, but when I take it out, like the 100-300, it produces greatโ€ฆ

Before buying it I had a Panasonic 45-200. What .

Before I bought it, I had a Panasonic 45-200. This lens wasn't very sharp, autofocus was slow, and it was a little big and bulky. This lens doesn't zoom as much, only up to 150. However, it's much smaller and lighter. The picture quality has improved a lot and the autofocus is very fast and quiet. If you really need extra coverage, other lenses are available. If you can afford a 35-100 2.8, you should probably buy it. But if you shoot Micro 4/3 and aren't rich, you can combine it with 14-42โ€ฆ

but also for better image quality

I bought my father a 45-150 lens. After comparing it to my 35-100 f4-5.6 (the smallest) I decided to sell my 35-100 even though it's more portable and buy another 45-150. The 45-150 not only outperforms the 35-100 because of the longer range, but also because of the better image quality. The center is certainly not as good as the 35-100 f2.8 (prof which I also have) but the extreme corners are kept at a good level, much better than the tiny 35-100 ie image quality is above that whole pictureโ€ฆ

Panasonic H-FS45150K Lumix G series lens

The lens is lightweight and about the size of a standard lens (14-42mm). I mostly shoot in manual mode, the focus ring is very sensitive to touch. A light touch will change the focus, but once you get used to it it shouldn't be a problem. I tried auto focus and zoom adjustment. The auto focus motor is very quiet and the zoom adjustment is very smooth. Works well with my Lumix G2 camera. Images are clear and sharp. I got it before a trip to Helen, GA on July 3rd and took lots of photos thatโ€ฆ

  • Expensive but valuable

Great lens at a great price!

The Lumix 45-150 offers long range in a tiny form factor, allowing you to go places SLRs dare not go. Nobody blinks at my tiny point-and-shoot Lumix GX1. Once on set I set it to 45-150 and have the equivalent of 90-300 full frame in the palm of my hand! I can shoot wide open and get sharp images. I was surprised by the quality of this affordable zoom: excellent fit and finish, attractive design, effective optical image stabilization (OPS) with 2-3 stops, lens hood included and very good imageโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • All right

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

Who said that there is no good TV for cheap? Here he is. No complaints about sharpness, hares or color reproduction - everything is in perfect order. The blur pattern is not artistic, but not ugly either - neutral. It reveals the main advantage of the micro4 / 3 system - glass with EGF 90-300 climbs into a purse along with a camera and a wide-angle pancake in addition, no one else has this. The trunk itself does not leave. Its darkness cannot be considered a drawback for its price, but thisโ€ฆ

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

I bought this lens from my hands at a photo forum for 8500r as a pair for Panas 14-45. Before that, Olympus 40-150 was from the "body", changed it due to the lack of a stabilizer, because. I shoot with a Panasov camera. I will say right away that the image stabilizer does not always save, some of the pictures turn out to be blurry, especially at long focal lengths and shutter speeds close to the permissible focal length, although it sometimes smears with a margin, so you have to take severalโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 1) Very compact size, slightly larger than the whale panas 14-42 and shorter, but slightly thicker than its fellow Olympus M. Zuiko 40-150 4-5.6. In addition, the retractable part is compact, it does not leave the lens far, unlike the same Olympus 40-150. Easily fits on the camera in a small purse 2) The presence of an optical image stabilizer 3) Very fast and silent autofocus 4) Good sharpness, including at the edges, drops uncritically closer to the long end 5) Resistant to distortion and chromatic aberration 6) Holds backlight well, whether it be the sun or a lantern, with almost no glare 7) Metal bayonet 8) Good external performance, strong body, no squeaks and fallout of the trunk, metal-lined lower part of the lens and lens hood included
Cons
  • Of the shortcomings, I can name too high a price, because the lens is "dark" and the range of focal lengths is not so large (I would say that they are simply cut off, it would be desirable to have 200mm on a long one) in order to wring this price. Otherwise, there are no significant shortcomings for its class.
