Review on πŸ“· Introducing the Panasonic H-FS45150K Lumix G Series Lens: Sleek and Powerful (Black) by Haissam Abo Fahd ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

The lens is really good. Of course, there is no comrade for the taste and color, but I personally liked it. I give 5 points. Got pros: 1. Very compact size. 2. Pleasant metallic finish, as a result of which the lens is simply pleasant to take in hand. 3. Smooth and moderately tight movement of the zoom ring. As a result, there are no jerks when zooming, everything is smooth. 4. Very good autofocus speed when taking photos and, which is especially pleasing, when shooting video. To be honest, I thought that, like many televisions, this one would "slow down". Nothing like that: autofocus is pretty fast. 5. Decent stabilization system. For example, at the long end, set 1/20 sec. and we get a picture without blurring. 6. Low cost. With its cons. 1. Aperture. Although at aperture 4.0 there is more light, and the picture is brighter than on a whale lens at the same aperture. 2. The minimum focusing distance is not 0.9 meters, as stated in the data sheet, but less. I personally measured: so, at the wide end (40 mm) the MDF is 68 cm, and at the long end (150 mm) - 75 cm. However, I would still like to be able to focus at closer distances in order to shoot macro. 3. "Cropped" focal range (45-150 mm). I would like 45-200 or something like that.
