I have a case of "my feet are always freezing" I've tried various slippers over the years. Cheaper ones and much more expensive ones. Are these the best? No but they're pretty darn good. For reference I wear 6.5 - 7 shoe and got these in 5-6 as they do stretch a bit after awhile. I actually like them best when they are new and snug. I also like the ankle height as they are great for winter drafts. I think the only negative is the plush inside does wear down and they aren't as warm as when they are new. This could also be due to the small amount of stretching out? When this happens I just throw on some socks and they are warm again. I think this happens with any slipper that has "fluff" on the inside. At least that has been my experience no matter the price.I have gotten a pair of each color and each one has lasted a whole winter. I still have them and am going to attempt to wash before I buy anymore. (They are in good shape just well.a bit "scented")I see some mention they pick up fuzz on the outside. Never had that issue ever with either pair. If the washing doesn't help the slight "wearing them daily for months" smell I would not hesitate to buy them again.
