Advantages: Beautiful scales. The entire top of the scale is a sensor (you don't have to step on the small sensors like some other scales). Nice bright numbers. Retrieve weight data of individual family members on their mobile phones. (Surprisingly many smart scales can't.) The smartphone app gives you the option to save scale data to a guest account. (I don't need to create an account on their servers to write scale data. I'm not sure if the guest account sends my scale data to their servers.) Scaling is fast. Records all data in less than 5 seconds. Cons: I wish the scale had the ability to display all recorded data right on the scale. You must use the application to see all the data that is being written. One thing should be noted. The description says that the Samsung Health (SHealth) app is supported. That is somewhat correct. Scales are not directly supported by the SHealth app. Data must be recorded via the Renpho app, which communicates with the SHealth app. Once you give both apps permission to share data, the data transfer happens automatically. Renpho app only shares weight, body fat and BMI with SHealth app. It does not share all 13 indicators.
