I am a huge fan of this product and have been using it with my kids for about a year. I have several kids with different types of curls and this works great on all of them. It won't feel very slippery when you put it on, but if you let it sit for a minute it gets slippery and I can get through the toughest knots with my fingers. For my child with the thickest and tightest curls, the curls become more groomed and really shiny if left longer. For my baby with looser curls/waves, it's best not to wait too long. It also detangles dry hair well and doesn't leave a greasy feeling.
