These filters seem to have a serious problem. They don't filter properly and if you don't remove and shake the filter after filling, the water mostly stays on top (unfiltered). The company was very accommodating when I called them, but their only suggestion was to remove the filter, run water through it and shake it before replacing it in the jug. If I don't do this every time, the filters seem to be clogged. The water tastes good but not as silky as the filter pitcher I had before (a different brand).
