The sound system was purchased to replace the standard TV speakers and as a home multimedia system for listening to music. I felt the difference immediately, it is HUGE. Watching movies, listening to music and playing games is now a pleasure. I thought for a long time to take it with a subwoofer or a younger model without it, but after watching the movie "Mad Max" and "Godzilla vs. Kong" all doubts for me and my neighbors disappeared, definitely only with a subwoofer. For me personally, the shortcomings described above turned out to be non-critical, I consider denon s316 one of the best purchases this year
- - Great sound, soft bass. Sounds natural and legible, high and low frequencies do not stick out - Pleasant, strict and compact design, nothing more. Light indication does not bother and does not attract the eye in the dark - Rich equipment. It comes with all the cords to connect it to the TV, you do not need to buy anything else. Also included are brackets for wall mounting. - Availability of standard presets. From "Cinema" mode that adds volume to "Dialogue" mode that improves speech quality
- - Automatic shutdown after 15 minutes. Unfortunately, nothing can be done about it. - There is not enough screen with the volume level, bass and the selected preset. Everything is determined only by ear - The connection to the TV periodically disappears (Most likely the problem is in my Samsung Q70T TV. When turned on, the two left LEDs are on, and the soundbar stops connecting to the TV in any way, while the Bluetooth connection works. Solved by going to the TV settings: General-> External Device Manager->Anynet+ Uncheck and check)
