I would not buy this lamp again for 3 reasons: 1 - It emits so much noise that some channels on my TV cannot be used. Reception will be interrupted the moment this lamp lights up. 2 - This lamp is getting hot. So hot that I was afraid to leave him alone. It is noticeably hotter than a similar lamp - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VDPC3D2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - that I bought a few months ago. After 5 or 6 weeks this 6000K lamp is still very hot. Shouldn't LEDs be cool? I no longer worry about it starting a fire, but I wouldn't use it in a confined space. 3 - This lamp was very bright when I first turned it on. But now - 5 or 6 weeks later - it has faded. This is by no means equivalent to a 400 watt lightbulb of ANY kind. I want to buy something else. I think it's equivalent in brightness to a standard 150 watt incandescent bulb. positive points. The lamp has easily adjustable "shoulders" and they stay where you put them. The light emitted is actually about 6000 KW. But to be honest it gets so hot that I think it should consume more. My cable doesn't get hot at all, so it's hard to tell how much it actually uses. (Because my cord and switch, which I bought separately, are high wattage.)
