I wanted to make a system external drive at work. Neither the BIOS in the MBR, nor the UEFI in the GPT of the Win7x64 and Win8x64 bootloader are seen and loaded. I wrote down an image from a working system disk to the SSD via Acronis (different versions) - it does not see the bootloader, I wrote down the Win7x64 and Win8x64 installation packages - it starts to load (unpack) and freezes. I studied all the forums, tips (Paragon. Migrate. OS programs, etc. ) for booting via external USB 3.0, formatted the SSD in different NTFS, EXT3 formats - nothing helped. The problem is the lack of support (pre-installed drivers in Win7x64 and Win8x64) USB 3.0 at the BIOS and UEFI levels. And working through USB 2.0 does not make sense. Passed after 12 days of torment.
