Review on πŸ˜ƒ Mehaz 668 Pro Wide Jaw Angled Toenail Clipper for Optimal Angled Nail Trimming by Kerri Houston

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Such an improvement over traditional clippers

These clippers are a big deal for some of us seniors who have trouble clipping toenails even when they can get to them :). Yes, the jaw opens wide, but there are other useful features. Because the jaw is inclined, it's much easier to trim the corners of the nails, as well as thicker ones. This allows the nails to be shaped a bit, reducing the chance of them snagging on hoses or socks. Some of my nails are quite curved making them almost impossible to trim with regular nail clippers, but that's not a problem with these. I also appreciate very long nails. I reach my nails much easier and the textured surface of the pieces that hold them provides a more secure grip. This makes the cuts more precise and less likely to slip out of my fingers when I press them. The clipper's blue base also catches clippings most of the time. Not always, depending on how I hold the clippers, but it reduces the amount of flying parts. I had to resort to traditional toe clippers. I had such a hard time using them that I decided to go back to this type and found that I liked the slanted jaw version even more than the straight ones I had before. They may not last forever, but they're still worth it because they allow me to take care of this work myself.

Pros
  • Wide jaws for cutting thicker nails
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged
