The Rhino Blaster (without hatch) is almost essential if you want your black tank to flush and not clog . Attach the hose to the blaster after emptying your black tank, turn on the flow switch and the water jet does the rest. Provides easy rinsing without the mess. However, make sure you have a backup if you don't want to go without it. I've had mine for one season and halfway through the second the seal in the switch broke and is now unusable unless I want to check the water in the faucet; I did not. I'm going to buy two of these ($14.95 each at my local department store) so if one fails I can just swap them out. This equates to about $15 per season, which is a reasonable running cost for an RV season. Do i have to do that? no A quality product should last for many seasons. Am I willing to buy a replacement if my current product fails? Yes. The function of the product is very important.
