I really like Knipex. I don't think anyone else makes a product like this. You are unique. So what is it? This is not a channel blocking tool. Channellock pliers change the angle of the pliers as you adjust them. Channel locks have aggressive teeth that dig into and damage the fastener. These pliers always keep the gripping surfaces parallel to each other. You press a small button to open or close the regulator. Another thing is that when using channel-locking pliers, you need to squeeze the handles. All you have to do is push the top handle down. There is no compression. I used this to remove the O2 sensor when the actual O2 sensor socket couldn't move it. Don't say Knipex, but you can put a tube on the top handle for more leverage. (I guess do this at your own risk). (This is much closer to a better version of a wrench than a channel lock pliers.) I don't think I'll ever use a wrench again. Both Phillips wrenches and channel lock pliers tend to round nuts and bolts. Crescent wrenches do not stay tight. They usually work much better than everyone else. The design is really cool. To be honest, I'm not sure about the grip comfort. That's good, but now it doesn't match my other Knipex tools. They sell one with regular red Knipex handles. If I were to do it again I would probably take it. Still, I think it's a 5 star product.
